Falz, whose full name is Folarin Falana, was born on the 27th of October, 1990, in Mushin local government area of Lagos state to lawyers and human right activist Funmi and Femi Falana.
Falz attended St. Leo’s Catholic Primary School for his basic education and Olashore International School, Osun state, for his secondary education.
After that, he enrolled at the University of Reading, England, where he graduated with an LLB honors degree in Law. Falz was called to bar in 2012 after graduating from the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.

Falz is currently not in a relationship with any woman. He was rumored to be in a relationship with Simi and Chindonma Ekile, but both singers refuted the rumors.
Career
Falz started his music career in secondary school by forming a music group called “The School Boys.” In 2009, he released a compilation of some recordings titled Shakara: The Mixtape.
In 2011, Falz released “Wahz Up Guy,” “High Class,” and “Currency,” which helped to promote his name in the industry. He has bagged a lot of awards and nominations, which include “Best Collaboration of The Year” at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and “Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series” at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for playing the role of Segun in Funke Akindele’s TV series titled “Jenifa’s Diary.”
