Parents

Rossdale, the son of Barbara Stephan (née Bowie) and physician Douglas Rossdale, was born in Marylebone, London, England. His father was of Russian Jewish ancestry; his mother was Scottish; and the family’s original surname was “Rosenthal.” Rossdale’s parents split when he was 11 years old, and he did not learn to talk until he was 4 years old.

Siblings

Rossdale has two sisters, one younger, Soraya, and one older, Lorraine. David Rossdale, Rossdale’s half brother, is the Bishop of Grimsby (a suffragan in the Diocese of Lincoln). Georgina Rossdale-Smith, Rossdale’s half sister, is a doctor. Rossdale began playing bass guitar after meeting his sister Lorraine’s boyfriend, who was a member of the band The Nobodyz, but he later switched to rhythm guitar.

Children

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have three sons: Kingston, 17, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 10. Though Stefani and Rossdale are no longer married — they divorced in 2015 after nearly 12 years of marriage, and Stefani has since married Blake Shelton — the former couple always put their children first. Although, reports have it they haven’t been doing a successful co-parenting since their divorce.

After years of friendship, the musician discovered in 2004 that he had fathered a daughter Daisy Lowe with designer Pearl Lowe in 1989, and he had even been designated Daisy’s godfather. Despite learning that he was Daisy Lowe’s father, Gavin Rossdale and his daughter appear to have developed a father-daughter relationship since then. Daisy has a lucrative modeling career.

Gavin Rossdale’s net worth is reported to be $45M. He has amassed this wealth mostly from his music career.

Cars

Gavin and Gwen have owned a variety of spectacular cars over the years, including their Rolls Royce Wraith, a Porsche Panamera, various Range Rovers, G-Wagons, and more, but it appears that Gavin has a new toy. Gavin was also seen stepping out of an Aston Martin Rapide S in Los Angeles.

Gavin spent $7.6 million for a home in Studio City, California, just a few months after his divorce from Gwen Stefani was finalized. It was the most expensive residential acquisition in Studio City at the time. He had previously rented a house in Bel Air.
